The Atheist Bookshop Forum

The time has come to re-asses my intentions with the atheistbookshop which has spent some 18 months in hiatus. The events which have kicked the sleeping dragon, are the recent announcement of an atheist convention (The Rise Of Atheism) in Melbourne, scheduled for march next year, along with this, I have been quietly pondering the viability of a project to make a DVD feature containing a compilation of the best of all the popular youtube atheists such as thunderf00t, Pat Condell, ZOMGitsChris, Defender Of Reason... NonStampCollecter, and.... well, you know who I mean, Then I burn a whole stack of DVD's to take over to the convention to sell, having arranged permission to set up a stall there. Given the work is not licensed and I would not have any royalties to pay, a percentage pledged to the youtube atheists via, I am thinking the League Of Reason, seem only fair. Anyhow, with that idea I may be lucky enough to scrape up a spare grand or two, (like my break even and market analysis?) and actually put some basic stock into the atheistbookshop. I have a couple of other bits and pieces to ebay and that should help too.

Meanwhile the troops from the Adelaide Atheists Meetup, may be descending here to avoid having to use the crappy mailing list, So lets all make them welcome, if...er..

Oh! Yeah! Theres only me and ALICE here, isn't there. Well then, you be nice ALICE, and a warm welcome to the Adelaide Atheist Meetup gang. Have a look around and make your selves at home if you want. I can add any extra boards you need, or if the forum needs any other adjustments then let me know (ALICE is flakier than me.), I'll do what I can. If you would really prefer a separate forum well I can help with that too. And I suppose I will get over the desertion... eventually.
